Pleasanton schools continue to excel and rank among the top in California according to 2017 Best Schools rankings from Niche, a website that rates L-12 schools, colleges and neighborhoods nationwide.
PUSD ranked 13th in California and 7th in the Bay Area for public schools. We also ranked 10th statewide and 5th in the Bay for best teachers. Both of PUSD’s comprehensive high schools ranked top 50 in the state out of 1,753 for public high schools (Amador Valley High School at 24 and Foothill at 48). All three middle schools ranked among the top 15 public middle schools in California (Pleasanton Middle School at 7, Harvest Park at 8, and Hart at 13). Five PUSD elementary schools are also
ranked in the top 10 for the East Bay!
